People think that, when they are on a keto diet, you don’t have to eat plenty so that you don’t get fat, some think this way because they assume fats make people fat. But, the reality is that, it’s a combination of calories from fats and carbs that makes us gain excess weight, make you fat. In case you’re on a keto diet plan, individuals have to eat more so that their bodies will get enough calories to replace those that has been lost by reducing carbs.
If we’re afraid of eating enough food on a keto diet plan, it will affect us negatively in two ways, the first is by making you lose weight because there the body isn’t getting calories from neither carbohydrates nor fats. The second is you lack normal metabolic activities because the body isn’t getting energy from glucose since you’re eating foods which contain fewer carbs. If this happens, people have to find an alternative way for providing energy, that is by eating more fats to activate the ketosis process so if we refuse to eat fat then individuals lose energy from both carbohydrates and fats.
That means if 1 energy production method is not available, there should be another to keep the body active or energized.
